መከረኛ ቪዛዋን አሳድሳ ወደ ቤት በብስክሌት ስታቀና የመኪና አደጋ ያጋጠማት ገንዘብ ወቅታዊ እና ተገቢው የህክምና እርዳታ ስላልተደረገላት ብቻ ይህው በስቃይ እና መከራ ውስጥ ሆና ወደ ሁለተኛ አመት እያዘገመች ነው። “በአደጋው ጊዜ ራሴን ስቼ ስለነበር ምንም አላውቅም ነበር። ስነቃ ራሴን ያገኘሁት ቤቴ ውስጥ ነው። የህክምና ባለሙያዎችም ብዙ ትኩረት ሳይሰጡኝ እና በተገቢው መንገድ ሳይረዱኝ ነበር ወደ ቤት እንድመለስ ያረጉት” ስትል ገንዘብ በወቅቱ የሆነውን በማዘን ታስታውሳለች። “ ምንም ቢሆን ሰው ነኝ እና ይህን ያህል ከባድ አደጋን ዜጋቸው አድርሶብኝ ስደተኛ ስለሆንኩ ብቻ እንደ እቃ ሊወረውሩኝ አገባም ነበር። ቢያንስ በህግ ፊት ከለላ እና ተገቢውን ፍርድ በተገቢው ጊዜ ማግኘት ይገባኛል”ትላለች ገንዘብ ።
አብዛኛውን ጊዜ በብስክሌት የማቋርጠውን ትልቁን የኤዶጋዋ ድልድይ ዛሬ በእግሬ ልሻገረው እና ከበስተማዶ ካሉት በርካታ የሃገሬ ልጆች ጋር ወጌን ልጠርቀው ነው። ቢያንስ ግማሽ ሰአት ያህል ሃሳቤን እያወጣሁ እና እያወረድኩ ወደፊት ማቅናት አለብኝ። እርግጠኛ ነኝ እንደበፊቱ በተስፋ የተሞሉ እና የተረጋጉ ውይይቶች እንደማይኖሩ፤ ዛሬ ከትቤው ለሌሎች ኢትዮጵያውያን የማሻግረው ታሪክ እንደሚኖረኝ ተስፋ አድርጌያለሁ።
በታላቋ የጃፓን ርእሰ መዲና ቶኪዮ ከሚገኙ ሃያ ሶስት ክፍለ ከተሞች ውስጥ ኢትዮጵያውያን በብዛት በካትሱሺካ ይኖራሉ። ከከተማዋ በስተሰሜን ምስራቅ የምትገኘው ይህች ክፍለ ከተማ እኔ ከምኖርበት እና ሱሚዳ ከሚባለው ክፍለ ከተማ የሚለየው በትልቁ የኤዶጋዋ ወንዝ ነው። ለዚህ ነው ዘወትር ወገኖቼን ስፈልግ የኤዶጋዋን ድልድይ የማቋርጠው። ምናልባት ወደፊት ቶኪዮን ወይም ያሻንን የጃፓን ግዛት እና ታሪክ እንዳስፈላጊነቱ እናወጋለን።ለአሁን ግን በዚህች ከተማ ካሉ የወገኖቼ ያልተነገሩ ታሪኮች ውስጥ ልታዩት እና ልታውቁት ይገባል ብየ ያሰብኩትን ላካፍላችሁ።
የኤዶጋዋን ድልድይ ጨርሼ የካትሱሺካን መንደሮች ረግጫለሁ ኢትዮጵያውያን መቼ እና ለምን ይህን አካባቢ እንደመረጡት ባላውቅም በብዛት ዮትሱጊ በተባለችው የዚህች ክፍለ ከተማ አነስተኛ መንደር ውስጥ ከትመዋል ። ቢያንስ ከጥቂት ደቂቃዎች ውስጥ ብቸኝነቴ ያከትም እና በአማርኛ ማውራት፣ መመካከር፣ሃሳብን ማውጣት እና ማውረድ እጀምራለሁ። ቅድሚያ ግን የታመመን መጠየቅ ተገቢ ነው እና አንድ አፍታ ከገንዘብ አበበ ጋር ላስተዋውቃችሁ።
ምን ጊዜም ሳቅ እና ፈገግታ መለያዋ የሆነው ገንዘብ በስደት ካለችበት ጃፓን ባጋጠማት የመኪና አደጋ አልጋ ላይ ከዋለች ሁለት አመት ሊሞላው ጥቂት ጊዜ ብቻ ቀርተውታል። ከተለመደው ሰላምታ ለጥያቄ ጉዳይዋ እንዴት እየሄደ እንደሆነ ቀስ ብየ ጠየኳት ። ገጽታዋ ሲቀያየር አስተውዬ ጥያቄውን ለማስቀረት ሳስብ ድንገት ከውስጧ ፈነቀላት እና አምርራ አለቀሰች ። “ ለምን እንዲህ እንደምሰቃይ አይገባኝም” አለችኝ። ማባበል ይኑርብኝ ወይም በጥያቄዬ ገፍቼ ልቀጥል ሳይገባኝ ቀረና ዝም አልኩኝ ። “ ተመልከት እኔ ቢያንስ እንደ ሰዉ መሮጥ ቀርቶ መራመድ እንኳ ብርቄ ሆኗል። በዚህ አስከፊ ወቅት እንኳ የጃፓናውያኑ ጭካኔ የሚፈታ አልሆነም” አለች ሙጥጥ ባለ ተስፋዋ።
“እንዲህ መቆም የምችለው በጣም ለተወሰኑ ደቂቃዎች ነው።”
መከረኛ ቪዛዋን አሳድሳ ወደ ቤት በብስክሌት ስታቀና የመኪና አደጋ ያጋጠማት ገንዘብ ወቅታዊ እና ተገቢው የህክምና እርዳታ ስላልተደረገላት ብቻ ይህው በስቃይ እና መከራ ውስጥ ሆና ወደ ሁለተኛ አመት እያዘገመች ነው። “በአደጋው ጊዜ ራሴን ስቼ ስለነበር ምንም አላውቅም ነበር። ስነቃ ራሴን ያገኘሁት ቤቴ ውስጥ ነው። የህክምና ባለሙያዎችም ብዙ ትኩረት ሳይሰጡኝ እና በተገቢው መንገድ ሳይረዱኝ ነበር ወደ ቤት እንድመለስ ያረጉት” ስትል ገንዘብ በወቅቱ የሆነውን በማዘን ታስታውሳለች። “ ምንም ቢሆን ሰው ነኝ እና ይህን ያህል ከባድ አደጋን ዜጋቸው አድርሶብኝ ስደተኛ ስለሆንኩ ብቻ እንደ እቃ ሊወረውሩኝ አገባም ነበር። ቢያንስ በህግ ፊት ከለላ እና ተገቢውን ፍርድ በተገቢው ጊዜ ማግኘት ይገባኛል”ትላለች ገንዘብ ።
በየቀኑ በርከት ያሉ ኢትዮጵያውያን ገንዘብ በጊዜያዊነት ከተጠለለችበት የአደይ አበባ ኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበር ጽ/ቤት ሊጠይቋት ይሰባሰባሉ። ተጫዋችነትን ፣ተወድጅነትን እና ታማኝነትን በህብረተስቡ ውስጥ በማትረፏም ሁሉም ለጨዋታ እሷ ዘንድ ይሰበሰባል። እኔም ጫን ያለኝ ጊዜ ሁሉ ወደዚያው አቀናለሁ።
ከገንዘብ ጋር ወደነበረኝ ጨዋታ ልመልሳችሁ ነው።…… በመኪና አደጋው ወቅት ጥፋቱ የእርሷ እንደሆነ ብዬ ጠየኳት። “ በወቅቱ እኔ ጥፋተኛ አልነበርኩም ። የገጨኝ ጃፓናዊም ጥፋቱን ሙሉ በሙሉ አምኖ ፈርሞ ነው የተለያየነው። ሃኪሞቹ ለምን ሊረዱን እንዳልፈለጉ ግን ዛሬም ድረስ እንቆቅልሼ ነው። የእግር እና የጎድን አጥንቶቼ ላይ ያጋጠመኝ ስብራት እና መቀጥቀጥ ይህው ዛሬ ድረስ እንዳልቀመጥ እና እንዳልነሳ አድርጎኛል።” ካለችኝ በኋላ እንባዋ ያለማቋረጥ በጉንጮችዋ መውረድ ጀመረ። ታሪኩን የግዴን ሰምቼ መጨረስ ነበረብኝ እና ውስጤ ከሚተራመሰው አስጨናቂ ስሜት ጋር ትግል ይዣለሁ።
“ ተመልከት እንዲህ ተጎድቼ የሚረዳኝ እንደሌለ እያወቁ እንኳ ጭካኔያቸው እና ሰብአዊ መብቴን በመጣስ መቀጠላቸው ያንገበግበኛል። ምንም አይነት እርዳታ የሚያደርግልኝ መንግስታዊም ሆነ ግብረ ሰናይ ድርጅት የለም” ትላለች ገንዘብ በምን አይነት የከፋ ሁኔታ ውስጥ እንዳለች ለማሳየት። እርግጥም ኢትዮጵያዊው ማህበር እና ማህበርተኞች ከሚያበረክቱላት እርዳታ በቀር በሮች ሁሉ ዝግ ሆነውባታል። መጀመሪያ ከታየችበት ሆስፒታል አነስተኛ ከሆነ ቅጥቅጣት በስተቀር ምንም ጉዳት እንደሌላት ተገልጾ ወደቤት እንድትመለስ ቢደረግም ጉዳቱ የዋዛ አልነበረም እና ገንዘብ ወደ ሌላ ሆስፒታል በራሷ እና በኢዮጵያውያን ጥረት ተዛውራ በተደረገላት ምርመራ ጉዳቱ እጅግ የከፋ እና ተኝታ መታየት ያለባት መሆኑ ተገልጾ እንደገና ከፍተኛ ህክምና ጀምራለች።
ይህንኑ አይን ያወጣ እኩይ ተግባር ለመስማት ፈቃደኛ የሆነ አካልም አልነበረም። ስደተኞቹ ወገኖችዋም እንደ እሬት የሚመረውን እውነታ ከመቀበል ውጪ ምንም አማራጭ አልነበራቸውም።አንድ ወቅት ባጋጣሚ ስንገናኝ የነገረችኝ ትውስ አለኝ እና ዛሬም ደግሜ ለማረጋገጥ አነሳሁላት። ምን ይሆን? ካላችሁ…. ገንዘብ አደጋውን ተከትሎ በመጣ ጣጣ ብቻዋን መንገድ መሻገር አይሆንላትም። በጣም ከመፍራት በላይ በስነ ልቡና ባለሙያ ታይታ አእምሮዋ በአንድ ወቅት የቀረጸውን ምስል ማስወጣት እንደተቸገረ እና በተለይ አስፋልት መሻገርን በጣም እንድትፈራ እና እግሮቿን ማዘዝ እንዲቸግራት ያደርጋታል። “ ከሁለተኛው ሆስፒታል የወጣሁት ህክምናየን ሳልጨርስ ነው ። በወቅቱ አቤት የምልበት ባለመኖሩ እስከዛሬ ድረስ በሰዎች እርዳታ እንቀሳቀሳለሁ።” ትላለች….ከስደተኞች ጋር የሚሰሩ ግብረ ሰናይ ድርጅቶችም የጉዳቱን ከፍተኛነት በመረዳታቸው የሚጠየቀውን ዋጋ ላለመክፈል ከቤት እየተመላለሰች እንድትታከም ከመንገር ያለፈ እርዳታ አልነበራቸውም። አሁንም ከየትኛውም ድርጅት እርዳታ አታግኝም።
ለጃፓን መንግስት ለስደተኝነት ያቀረበችው ማመልከቻ ያለበትን ደረጃ ታውቅ እንደሁ ላነሳሁላት ጥያቄ ምላሻ አሳዛኝ እና ልብን የሚነካ ነበር። “ መንቀሳቀስ በማልችልበት ሁኔታ ላይ እንኳ ቪዛዬን እንዳድስ በአካል መገኘት እንዳለብኝ ይነግሩኝ እና ያስገድዱኝ ነበር። አንድ እርምጃ እንኳ መራመድ ሳልችል በኮንትራት ታክሲ ወገኖቼ ይወስዱኝ ነበር።” አለችኝ። መታመማሟን ታሳቢ አድርገው ቢያንስ በተወካይ ጉዳይዋን ማየት ለምን እንዳልተፈለገ ግልጽ አይደለም። ገንዘብ እንደምትለው ምን ያህል ጨካኝ እንደሆኑ ለማሳየት ካልሆነ በቀር ሌላ ተጠቃሽ ምክንያት የላቸውም።
“አሁን በቅርቡ ያደረጉኝን የሰማህ ይመስለኛል።” ስትለኝ በደንብ ጆሮዬን አቅንቼ እያዳመጥኳት እንደሆነ አመላከትኳት “ ለኢንተርቪው ጠርተውኝ ነበር ።” አለች እና ድንገት ሳላስበው እንደገና ምርር ብላ ማልቀስ ጀመረች። አሁን ግን የድምጽ መቅጃዬን ማቆን ነበረብኝ ። ትንታ ተጨምሮበት ሁኔታዋ ሁሉ በአንዴ ወዳልጠበኩት ህመም ቀስቃሽ ስሜት ተሻገረባት። ከሌሎች ኢትዮጵያውያን ጋር ተባብረን ደገፍገፍ ካደረግናት በኋላ ትንሽ ሻል ሲላት ምናልባት በሌላ ወቅት እንድንነጋገር ላግባባት ሞከርኩ። ቀጠሮ የሚባል ነገር እናዳንገሸገሻት ገልጻልኝ ካቆምንበት ቀጠልን።
“ የኢሚግረሽን ኦፊሰሮቹ እኔ ወንበር ላይ መቀመጥም ሆነ መነሳት እንደማልችል ብነግራቸውም ሊሰሙኝ ፈቃደኞች አልነበሩም። እንደ እንስሳ ወለል ላይ አጋድመው ነበር ሳልፈልግ ኢንተርቪው ያደረጉት።” ብላ ትንሽ ትንፋሽ ወስዳ ቀጠለች።” አእምሮየ ያልተረጋጋ እና የማስበውን በትክክል አስክቸ ማውራት እንደሚሳነኝ ብገልጽም ሰሚ አልነበረኝም። ምን እንደምል እንኳ ሳይገባኝ በቃ ተገድጄ ጀምሬ ተገድጄ ጨረስኩ” በማለት ያጋጠማትን የቅርቡን ጊዜ ሁኔታዋን አጫወተችኝ። ገንዘብ በሃገሪቱ(ጃፓንን ማለቴ ነው) ህግ ቢያንስ በ ስድስት ወር ሊፈጸም የሚገባው የአደጋ ተጎጂ የካሳ ክፍያዋ የሆነ ያልሆነ ምክንያት እየተሰጠው ይህው አመት ከ ስድስት ወር ሞልቶትም አልተከበረላትም። ዛሬም ድረስ እንደ እሷው አሳር መከራቸውን የሚያዩት ስደተኛ ወገኖች እየደገፏት የስደትን ህይወት ትገፋለች።
ገንዘብ ቢነገር መጽሐፍ ሊወጣው የሚችል አሳዛኝ የሰብአዊ መብት ጥሰቶች እያስተናገደች ነው። በዚህ ስደተኞች እንዲሁ እንደከንቱ ዘመናቸው በሚበላበት ሃገረ ጃፓን፤ መብትን መጠየቅ ነውር ነው። ገንዘብ በእውን እያስተናገደችው ያለው አበሳ ስደተኛ በመሆኗ ብቻ የተጣለባት ነው። አቤት የሚልላት ወገን ካለ ግን መፍትሄው ይቀላል ብላ ታምናለች። “ በየትኛውም አለም ያለ ኢትዮጵያዊ ወገኔ ሁሉ ይህን ሰምቶ ዝም እንደማይለኝ እርግጠኛ ነኝ። ባደጋ ካጋጠመኝ ህመም በላይ የሚጣሰው የሰብአዊ መብቴ ነገር ያንገሸግሸኛል።” ትላለች። ወገን በያለበት የጃፓንን መንግስት በኤምባሲዎቹ በኩል እንዲሁም አለም አቀፍ የሰብባዊ መብት ተሟጋች አካላት እንዲያውቁት በማድረግ እንዲተባበር እና የሷን እና የሌሎች ስደተኛ ኢትዮጵያውያንን ህይወት መታደግ እንዳለበት ታመለክታለች።
ካለባት ህመም አንጻር ብዙ እንዳይደክማት በማሰብ ለዛሬ እዚሁ ድረስ አወጋን እና ወደ ሌላዋ ኢትዮጵያዊ እህቴ ታሪክ ተሻገርኩ። በእስር ቤት ለአንድ አመት ከሁለት ወር ከቆየችው ከዚህችው ኢትዮጵያዊት ጋር የነበረኝን ቆይታ ሳምንት አደሰዋለሁ ብዬ ቆርጫለሁ። እስከዚያው ግን በያላችሁበት ጉዳያችንን ተመልከቱት። መመልከት ብቻ ሳይሆን ለሚገባው ክፍል ድምጻችን ሁኑና ጩሁልን …

As a sane citizen you showed how a responsible and courageous Ethiopian should share the sufferings and tears of many destitute Ethiopians living abroad. Personally I learned a lot from you and I presume others do the same.

Honestly speaking In this moving and heart breaking ገንዘብ’s story you didn’t give us the whole picture of her medical problem. On this regard you were far from genuine journalist and you were more close to second hand information teller.

What diagnosis did she have following the car accident?

The knowledge and the language you were using was anemic and leaving it opens various interpretations and most importantly you exposed yourself as a clueless journalist. All in all It was done in a low-key manner

Last I want to share you my professional opinion about ገንዘብ’s unfortunate and heart touching case. Mind you this done based on your insufficient information. I will try to analyse her case in same way we, doctors used to do it in day to day hospital practice
She had both surgical and psychiatric problems. Which is the domain of her problem? It is psychiatric rather than surgical health problem. Here follows analysis her condition
Positive history and clinical scenario
- የመኪና አደጋ አልጋ ላይ ከዋለች ሁለት አመት ሊሞላው ጥቂት ጊዜ ብቻ ቀርተውታል. This speaks to me that the patient is more psychiatric case than surgical because there is no long leg bones fracture ( like femurs, tibial and fibular bone fracture) that cause the patient to be bed ridden for two tears. Unless there is a spinal cord injury but unlikely one this patient because at no point in the history this was mentioned.
- More importantly the patient was discharged following few days stay in hospital and her stay in the next hospital was non revealing
Look some of the statements and phrases she made

All the above statements look seemingly small but speaks the truth that again the domain of her problem is psychiatric rather than surgical.

Post traumatic stress disorder is a common psychiatric problem and at same time a curable disease. A message to the readers However at no point ገንዘብ’s health problem should not be under stressed and like any medical or surgical problems, psychiatric disorders should be given equal attention and treatment too to bring one’s health back to normal.

What is your point? The writer didn’t claim himself a journalist in the first place (I think you are misusing the word journalist). I wonder why you went to such great lengths to discredit the writer? As to me he gave us enough information about the agony our sister is in. Details of her health problem or ailements should have been left to her doctor (he rightly did that).

You are wonderfully unwise, there is nothing the writer didn’t tell us and even he posted her picture- so the question of privacy is broken from the start. He told us every thing but in unscientific way and I believe this is a gross fact the writer does not shy away from.

You are regrettable wrong, My intention was to give my two dime worth contribution how to extract medical history which many people consider it a a jungle hard to navigate and if that is not possible for any reason one has to ask second opinion before a writings of such kind made for disclosure.

But if you are talking to ገንዘብ’s heart breaking story, which I presume..that is nothing but simply a question to someone you barely know.

All he wrote is true. because I know Genzeb very well, specially while she was in the secound Hospital. I used to visit allmost every day.
I know she is being discharge befor is getting well or recovered. at that time I asked her why she is discharge befor she recovered. she has no idea. I am a living wetness for what happened. there was no any organization or government entity willing to pay her medical expenses. I know she has a writen evedence from the Hospital.
